As there are no news of Emily in the moment. A german feature about prodigies - I have seen better features bedore - but luckily I can only be seen from the back 14:02 There are some pictures from the concert in Essen. Its about a 11 year old baskeball prodigy amd Laetitia Hahn. What I don't like about this basketball talent - he shall be getting growth hormones just for the dream of becoming an NBA player as without them he would only be 1.58 cn tall as an adult,. For me the feature is a bit too much about sensation... www.galileo.tv/videos/kleine-kids-ganz-gross-die-wunderkinder-2/

I just discovered that Tanja Zhou - the young woman from Germany with whom Alma Deutscher played the double concerts in Jerusalem uploaded a few videos. She is now 16 and made her Abitur (A-levels, High School Diploma). In an older interview she told that as she is still young perhaps she will study medicine also not only concentrating on a musical carreer.
When she was 13 she played the Grieg Piano Concert with the Duisburg University Orchestra
some Chopin
here with 14yo
Liszt - Rigoletto Paraphrase
On the violin
15yo
Paganini
Bach
Beethoven

I do have a question regarding the "other Musicians" at this Board: Are the Members here really interested in other musicians? It seems that only one member is using this section, and I see never a response. If I had a recommendation I would love to see a few comments afterwards. Otherwise I would feel that I wasted my time. Of course, there is no need to post a dozen links to YT, instead I would write a bit about the Band or the artist...

There is no difference between response here on my Emily Bear posts and the off topic posts. Nearly no one is contibuting anything here with information about Emily Bear but Stephen and me. They all like to be served with information but no one is contibuting anything, didcussing anythng etc. In the month I did not post anything here it was like a graveyard. I waited and waited - notthing, nada. Sometimes I ask myself why I am stil postng here. But not because of my offtopic posts @wolfgang1958 what do you think - starting today you and @cer start posting here all the informations about Emily Bear you can find. Good luck

Usually Wolfgang1958, I will post a response to any other artist that I have any really interest in, and there also isn't any big news involving Emily at the moment.
I also haven't posted a lot in here these days because I have been rather busy. :-)

That seems the problem with this board: Dedicated to only one young musician, there will often be a long time where absolutely nothing happens worth reporting. That will also be the case in the future when Emily grows up and will make her way into the entertainment business.
And in the meantime, member eulenspiegel is trying to keep this board alive...

It seems that she is really very talented.
But for me, she is a bit too cute and a bit too.... soft. I wonder what will happen when she grows up and is no longer a Cutie and no longer a prodigy.
A problem for all younger musicians, even for Emily and Jackie Evancho. Then the real challenge begins.. and not all of them will survive...

Usually, we will mention very good artists here, worth introducing them to this board.
But I found that it could be funny to turn the tables and introduce some really weired stuff.
From Wikipedia:
„Florence Foster Jenkins, born Nascina Florence Foster (July 19, 1868 – November 26, 1944) was an American socialite and amateur soprano who was known and mocked for her flamboyant performance costumes and notably poor singing ability. „
Her Counterpart when it comes to popular Music (from Wikipedia) :
„Leona Anderson (3 April 1885 – 25 December 1973) was an American silent film actress who is possibly best recalled for her 1957 shrill music album Music to Suffer By „
Please do yourself a favour and put a diaper on before you click.
Have fun!

Now 7yo and his own cadenzas This seems to be recorded on the market place of Bonn, birthplace of Beethoven and former capital of BRD. As there is the Beethoven monument, you can see at some time in the video en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beethoven_Monument,_Bonn
