Umi Garret posted her version of Schumann Piano Concert
Her solo cadence is extraordinary. The beginning and then 12:30ff -))) This could be the young Clara Schumann in 1841 or even the younger "backfisch" teenager Clara Wieck Robert Schumann learned to know.Very expressive, full of passion.
Umi and Emily are still too young. Many people of " high society" were shocked and choked by Clara's passionate playing-)
The cadence is the climax of he first movement, I read somewhere that it has to be kind of descorged from the reprise, full of virtuosity and passion.
Her piano teacher John Perry seems to be fantastic!
Its difficult to compare Emily and Umi. Emily plays classical music for education. In the moment its not her first goal but there are some parts in which I prefer Emily. Umi is a full time educated classical pianist. If she wouldn't have some advantages in her classical technical skills she should be ashamed. And she is one year older and a little taller! She seems to have worked extremly hard for that cadence.

As we all wait for some news I just have to post this
incredible fantastic BBC docu I found on youtube
" Bach - A passionate life" John Eliot Gardiner ( 2013) HD
Its quite entertaining, and I think that Trini, Andreea and even Emily would like to play on the organs that are shown and in the fantastic places, churches etc. -)

Umi Garret posted her version of Schumann Piano Concert
Umi with the piano is like Fred Astaire with dancing, John Wayne with acting, David Garrett with the Violin, or Micheal Jordan with Basketball, Pele with soccer, even Emily Post with Etiquette.. she becomes the piano.. When she does the third movement of the Tempest(Beethoven) I'm transported to UMI-Land.. ***

50 years ago the Berlin Philarmonics opened their new home.
So here something special.
Sir Simon Rattle rehearsal with 6 Berlin School Orchestras
Grieg - Hall of the Mountain King
Wouldn't that be something for Illinois School Orchestras in the Chicago Symphony or New York Schools in NY Symphony etc.

Today something for Andreea, Yesterday died at the age of 90 the CEO of one of Germanys most famous brand Haribo, Hans Riegel, the inventor of the Goldbears. chinamarketingblog.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/haribo.jpgWhen I searched at youtube for Haribo and piano I found this. The very talented romanian pianist Cezara - Lucia Vlādescu and her variations"Haribo"-) She seems to be a kind of romanian Emily, perhaps Emily adopts her hairstyle-) de.comusico.com/musicians/260-cezara-lucia-vladescu"Song for Dodo" -Montreux 2012 Jazz Competition What a concept Romanian JAZZ.... shes quite good as well.... sensitive riffs majestic crescendos.. BUT..... and I mean this... her stylist needs to be SLAPPED and eyes poked.. to do that to a beautiful girl..
however; inspired cadence.. she "feels" jazz.. ***

Oh hosepipe, than you have to poke her in the eye - I think - she seems to be be very interested in stylings, and the red hairs. with english subtitles a long german radio interview ( 2013) This kind of interview would be something I would like for Emily! At the beginning of this interview - hosepipe- she talks about her appearance and about the reaction of the traditional audience in the classical genre-) Dodo is her sister-) She also talks about the experience in Montreux - her first time with jazz on stage, 28years old. She told the host that it was the first time that she feeled really glad for her abilities. She won the jazz audience award-) after her sister had to push her to take part in the competition, signed in the last date-) and here the same piece " EPA" in a trio version-) Wouldnt this be something for Emily-) She has 164.000 followers on fb - I discovered, www.facebook.com/CezaraLuciaVladescuplayed at Carnegie Hall and won the audience award in Montreux 2012. She seems to be really a kind of Emily Bear in Romania - Andreea must know, well known. And the red hairs, I found this, at 7 yo she sang from My Fair Lady in TV and she was interviewed at the age of 6/7years ( english subtitles) here you can see her natural hair with some Ravel - Sonatine or - sorry -) red hair Scarlatti I never heard from here before the haribo search, but it shows again that there are literally thousands of talented pianists out there and just beeing a classical pianist is boring-) A concert of Emily and her would be very interesting-) Oh perhaps Somewhere over the rainbow
