Wow, Petee, I didn't see this until now! Why mine, though??? Emily's is so much better! Especially since that video is one of the oldest videos on my channel!

Hi, you for sure saw this amazing photo: Do you know why Emily loves cherries? Maybe because they look like notes in score. ;D Petee

Hi everyone, I have a music blog in which I and another pianist post uploads and things like that. I play a lot of Emily's music and put it up on there. Here's the link: www.apianistslife.blogspot.com

Hi guys... I am in need of a pep talk. I have a recital in March but I'm not feeling excited about piano or the song I'm playing. (It's not Emily Bear) Piano hasen't been going that great- I just don't feel like I have the passion I need for the song to sound good. It just sounds blase to me. Any ideas to get me motivated??

Hey i can give you a little bit help for your retical. Just don´t be nervous and trust your piano skills. Think about the feeling you will have when you play a good retical. Please don´t get upset when you play a wrong note. everyone is making mistakes (Look at Emily she has so much fun even if she is making a mistake she always tries her best!). So you should do that too! Try your best and having fun with it. You dont need a perfect performance, just having fun is all! Good luck to you! greeting from germany, Alex

Hi musiclover I have played songs that I didn't necessarily like in a recital but I tried not to show that to the people in the audience ;D the best thing you could think of is that after the recital you can start new pieces that you like Talk with your piano teacher after the recital and tell her/him that you want to start new pieces that you love and would learn faster and play them with passion- like Emily's songs I wish you good luck, and try playing with passion thinking at the songs you'll start learning after the recital is over ;D Andreea

Why he should wait till the recital is over? That would be wrong. Music is all about feelings and passion. It should be the teachers duty to explain to you this peace, explain why she chosed it, talk with you about your problems. If I am correct - between your lines - you don't like playing the piano in the moment. But not changing the piece would make it worse. Talk with your teacher immediately. If your teacher is a good teacher he/ she she will understand.

Thank you everyone!! That makes me feel better It not that I don't think the piece is pretty. I just think the song I played last year showed more skill than this years. Sometimes I feel like i'm going backwards... :/ Practice was much better this morning.. I'm going to go with this song.

That sounds great! Please keep us updated i want to know how your rectial went. However, i wish you good luck and to play pieces that are easier than the last ones doesn´t mean you go backwards. That is a chance to put even more feelings into the music and you can show the audience how well you have improved over the last years!
Greetings from Germany, Alex

I hope that I do not bore everyone but as it yesterday was confirmed the remains of Richard III had been found last year under a parking lot. As someone commented thats quite funny because its a kind of modern "horse stable" ("A kingdom, a kingdom for my horse")-)))) Here is a playlist of the university about this. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkBZZhQeuA83nTnkPNHVbpF-QnyntzQxI

In a few minutes there will be a show on german television, in which kids with special talents compete against profis. There will be a 12year old who will compete against Lang Lang! They both have to identify the music by the combinations on the keyboard. /photo/1 If there is a video I will post it. Trini or Sarah wouldn't it be nice to compete against Emily-)))))
