I went to go see "Oz The Great and Powerful" with the cast of The Wizard of Oz and the score in that movie was fantastic. Danny Elfman is one of the greatest movie composers I think. This scene was one of the moments in the movie where I literally had to lean over to my friend and tell her to just listen to the movie score, because it was so beautiful. (I actually did that multiple times, hehehe. I think she got annoyed with me for that) And being a complete nut for movie scores, I can usually guess the movie composer by listening to the music. So by the beginning of the opening credits I already knew it was Danny Elfman. And just one more, because it's my favorite piece from the whole movie, Hope you guys like this movie score as much as I did!!!

Oh I forgot something. This year the Eurovisian Song Contest will be in Malmö/Sweden because of last years winner Loreen- Euphoria.
The members of Abba - Benny Anderson and Björn Ulvaeus will write an anthem for this event. I hope it will be as good as the wedding song for Princess Viktorias Wedding in 2010.
"Resting blissfully in your arms"
Music Benny Andersson (1946-); text: Kristina Lugn (1948-) (First performance)
Sjön vilar tätt mot stranden. Himlen oändligt blå. Jag står med dig i handen. Mörkret faller. Och du lyser så.
Vinden vill famna skogen.
Vilar glad. I din famn.
I din famn.
An English paraphrase is:
Beautiful we take to the beach. The heaven shines blue. I stand with your hand in mine. The dark (night) falls. And you shine so.
The wind embraces the forest. The harbor give the way peace. The way we will go towards faithfulness There you wander to my longing...
It is true love that will bear my faithfulness through our lives. So I seek you, I call out over all your name till I am in your embrace. I will be glad in your embrace. Be glad. In your embrace.
Now will I be together with your warm soul. I am like a children's song You are (simple) and mean so much.
It is true love that will bear my faithfulness through our lives. So I seek you, I call out over all your name till I am in your embrace. I will be glad in your embrace. Be glad. In your embrace.
