Funny you should mention the play "Hair". Early in 1969, I was still in high school, me and a friend drove to Chicago where "Hair" was also playing. We got tickets to the play, it was one of the funnest nights of my young life at the end of the play the cast members went into the audience and grabbed people. I ended up on stage with about 50 other people, dancing with the cast. Then a year latter I was in Los Angeles with a bunch of friends. There was a Tommy Smuthers production of "Hair" playing, again we got tickets and I attended that performance also, but alas at the end there was no dancing so in the end I liked the Chicago production much better...btw a few months latter I was in the army headed for Vietnam. After I got out of the army in 1972 "Hair" was one of the first albums I bought, I have no idea where that album is now. infact I don't even have a turntable anymore but when it was released on CD it was one of the first CD's other than the Beatles I bought, I still have that CD and every once in a while I pull it out and listen to it, the music brings back some very fond memories.

As I live 4 km from the frontier to the Netherlands and today Prince Willem will be crowned as the new king, the new king song. There were many discussions in the Netherlands about this song in the recent days.
Btw last year he took part in a toilet bowl throwing competion-))) His advisers were not amused.

One of my favourite songs
Logical song by Rodger Hodgon ( Supertramp)
It has also great lyrics. Sometimes teacher use it here in Germany to talk with their pupils about the use of adverbs and adjectives in the English Language and the meaning for interpretation in this song.
I thought of this when I learned that Emily got homeschooled again. There is one problem with homesschooling. On the one side the child shall be protected ( In Emilys case I think it has only time reasons and that makes sense) and not be sent to the "mediocre" schools, but on the other hand the child learns only what their parents or tutor knows and approves. And thats a disaster. So there can be no "Diversity" in a positive sense.
During their teen years the kid has to reflect everything even its own parents and the teachers/ professors to build its own personality. Also I learned in that recent show how educated and open minded Andrea Bear is I hope for Emily that at some point its possible for her to visit an excellent!!!! school again-)))
