I know this is a music forum but 3 hours ago one of the greatest miracles in soccer history happened. And Emily is interested in sports. European Championsligue Quarterfinal Dortmund - Malaga 3:2 At 90 minutes Malaga led 1:2, but Dortmund scored two goals in extra time in front of 80.000 exploding fans and I think millions in front of their TV. /photo/1 @jon7etty: #Football fans should deffo watch this!! Class #Dortmund fans before kick off!! t.co/cB3L5KjHRc@dwicarta: Oh. My. God. RT “@brianstraus: Pic of Dortmund's legendary south stand via @rogbennett will take your breath away: t.co/a1ycCaL7ij”Btw. I am a fan of Dortmunds archrival, but give credit where credit is due. I think now everybody realizes why it was not good idea to broadcast a docu about Emily in Germany on a soccer day-)))

Sorry I know its not about Emily, not about music, but today is the 100th birthday of - in my opinion - the athlete of the 20th century Jesse OwensI am quite shocked that I cannot find any doodle. But it stresses his tragic role after his success in the Berlin Olympics 1936, 4 Gold Medals ( 100 m, 200 m, Long Jump, 4/100 relay) Tragically his biggest triumph was in NS Germany but later was treated badly and nearly forgotten in segregated US. As bad as it sounds. Hitler wrote a card to him because of his sucess , President Roosevelt not-( Famous photo of Jesse Owens and his german competitor Luz Long during the long jump. Jesse Owens always told he got the decisive tip for his winning jump from Luz Long. Here is a docu which I think was originally English but with a german narrator.
