This is an off topic thingy, though a little related actually. Does anyone here know if I can make paypal payments WITHOUT a credit card of any sort. Has anybody done so? Looking this up on the net gave me contradictory answars so I am even more confused now. I, of course, need it to buy Miss Bear's music (I'm not saying CDs, coz much as I'd prefer to have real life discs, I may end up with the cheaper and more convenient MP3 downloads <- unless you guys can give me a good reason to go for CDs, maybe?). Well, I set up my paypal account (it's free) but when I trial buying anything from a shop, it asks me to tie a credit card to it. It might be because the account balance is 0.00 however. But to check if it's so, I would need to transfer money to it, right? And that's not free (getting it out of the paypal account if it still wants a card and the transfer was in vain, that is). There is also a talk about account verification to avoid limits (limits are the amount of cash you can spend in a given timespan or so... I'm not really worrying about them since they are much more than it will cost me to buy ALL Emily's CDs (even)). Now I know we're not talking big money, but still. So, anyone has been through the same confusion I'm facing now? Thx in advence CT

Thx in advence CT Hi caretaker, I've been using paypal for years, I have it connected to my debit card, I don't have to transfer money into paypal it is just automatically transfered when I make a payment...kinda like writing a check over the internet. I have never had a problem with it and there has been no fees involved and my balance in paypal is always 0.00...lol I bought a piece of land in Nevada using paypal it works great. don

I've used Paypal without an credit card, and in that case you do need to upload some money to it first. You can upload money from an bank account, or use it with an online auction site like eBay, if you want to sell some items to raise money.

Aha, THX a lot dfwtexan42. That is the info I needed *edit 20mins later: Actually, just checked and my paypal account already had the little money i transfered to it as a test. So I already bought the '23 Free' piece from 'Always True' album. Worked like a dream. And what a joy to listen to. for Emily.
