Winnipeg is in Manitoba, Canada; you'd be in a whole different country! You ever been to Canada, Don?

How can you afford to travel all over for these concerts? I'm so jealous!
Speaking of traveling, do you plan to go to Emily's Gershwin concert in CT?

this must be a record-long time for Emily to name a piece...

Hey Don, did Emily ever come up with a name for that piece that she called "The Pretty Song"?

I hope this new CD doesn't take as long to produce; I'm dying for some new music from Emily! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who loses at chess games. (I'm hopeless at chess.) A cold lake honestly sounds wonderful right now. I'm not enjoying the high-90s temperatures with 90% humidity.

She could go even further with the butterfly theme and foreign language thing she's been doing and use the Objibwe word for butterfly, which is "Memmengwa."

You could always just take the audio and post it with the picture that was on Emily's Facebook!

I really want to hear her re-vamped "Northern Lights" ;D What was the "Finale"? I love Indigo and Araignee; I love listening to her play with a jazz trio. I'm strongly considering minoring in music at college - leaving this August! - and I REALLY want to be able to play some of her jazzier stuff - or even pieces like "Alika" - with other instruments.
It also looks like Emily's gotten taller.

Yeah; it's usually Emily playing. (Either actual recordings from her CDs or from a live recording.)

Half of my videos of me playing get flagged with "third-party content"; I guess I play similarly enough to Emily to get that warning. LOL I guess if the piece is about dueling spiders, it COULD be "Arachnids," but I think "Arachnid" just flows a little better. But whatever! I really hope we see more from her soon!

Too bad about the cameras!!! I really wanna hear Emily sing now that she sings! She seriously needs to get down to Florida...I've met her, but I haven't heard her play live yet! And I wanna hear the new Northern Lights!!!!!!!!!!! I don't usually have the motivation to learn stuff by ear, but when Emily adds stuff to pieces, I like to mess around with it. When I met them back in August, Mrs. Bear said to me that Emily had recently composed a piece that was "SO you" and that she'd send me the music, but I haven't gotten any. Maybe it'll be on her next CD. I got super curious once Mrs. Bear told me about it, though...Curiosity will be the death of me. Of course, my music-related dream is that Emily will compose a piece for me...I'd probably die if that happened. As for the new piece Emily hasn't named yet, I haven't heard it, but if I composed something I couldn't name, I'd probably call it "Anonymous." I haven't heard Emily's piece though, so "Anonymous" probably doesn't even fit. LOL "Arachnid" sounds really cool; there's a little spider just outside my window and he rebuilds his web every so often; I've actually wondered to myself, "I wonder what Emily would compose for that." I really wanted to give a few ideas to Emily to have her do improv. on when we met her, but we stopped in when she was in the middle of a lesson, so there wasn't time for that. (I took up enough of her lesson time by playing myself! I played "Reflections" and messed up quite a bit.) I've found that my brain works opposite the way Emily composes; I will usually be listening to a piece and get images and scenarios in my head that match up with the music. I'm hopeless at composing pieces based on images or scenarios, though, and I don't have any experience with movie making, so I don't think anything will ever come of that.
