Hi Moongirl, welcome to Emily's forum, Emily has a way of inspiring people, especially young people although I do know of some older people who she has also inspired to return to the piano, I personally don't play, when it comes to the piano I have 2 left hands, it looks like you have learned quite a few of Emily's songs, again welcome. Don Thank you! I look forward to learning even more about Emily here It's nice that you and others love her music even when you don't play.

Has anyone here ever heard of Mika? He's a British pop singer? His music is quite different, not your typical pop singer! I found out about him and took a liking to him because I love the little themes he composes on the piano, rather like Emily! Of course, he wasn't a child prodigy or anything, or quite as good as Emily, but I love his music. He's dyslexic, by the way, so he can't even read music! Here's an acoustic version of one of his songs called "Grace Kelly". His vocal range is incredible! He and Emily Bear are my two favorite composers.

So far I've mastered:
Ellen's Song Journey to My Heart (comfort song <3) Rosario Sings Northern Lights (first one I ever learned) Motherlove Tomorrow's Wishes (makes me ponder lots of different things in life...) Ka'iulani (ahhh) Joie (really fun!!) Final Journey I'm Home Alika her arrangement of Silent Night
I can play these at any given time, since I can only memorize her songs (it's really hard to look at the piano and the music at the same time!), except for Motherlove, Rosario Sings, and Silent Night. Those I haven't played as much....but I love learning new ones!
I really hope I can play all of her songs someday!

Hello everyone! I'm Moongirl, and I'm new to the forum but not to Emily! I've known about her for about 4 years, I believe, but I've never met her in person . I've been playing the piano for about 7 years, and she's really inspired me. I have all of her songbooks and most of her CDs, and the CDs I don't have in hard copy I have on iTunes. For a while, her music was all I listened to! I really hope one day she'll be as famous as Mozart, if, of course, that's what she would like.

Hello! I'm new to this forum but certainly not new to Emily! I've know about her for....about 4 years, maybe? Anyway, I like to know where certain pictures of her come from, so I've been looking for people to ask! I figured this thread might do the trick. I have a board of Emily on Pinterest
The first picture I have a question about is this:
Does anyone know where it's from?
