Thanks for the post Till. Emily has been very quiet on her social media platforms lately, so I have gotten a little concerned about how she has been doing since the tour. I am wondering if you have any information as regards to Emily and her partnership with Abigail. Abigail has been posting frequently but no mention about Emily and if they are still writing together. That lawsuit may have had some impact on the number of opportunities they referred to in previous posts. If there is anyone who might know what is going on in the Barlow and Bear world it would be you Till.

This is turning out to be a big deal for the young ladies. There are a lot of people involved in this production, between cast and crew and everyone involved in the organization and publicity. A name I recognize, Christopher Jahnke, has worked with Emily before when she was much younger. And nearly a sellout. There were only 71 seats available when I last checked. Sadly. there is no video recording allowed so of course I am second guessing my decision not to make the trip. My brother was going to go with me but when I checked on the availability of two meet and greet pass's they were sold out. I am hoping that if does end up selling out that PBS or someone else will step up and record the performance. At least an audio version, perhaps a CD that we can buy later. Got to hear that new song. Till if you are reading this have you considered making the trip to London?

This is very tempting. It has long been a dream of mine to see Emily perform live and I came close one time when I had plans to attend a performance of her jazz trio in the Seattle, Washington area some years ago (I have family in the Tacoma area). But due to a couple of unfortunate and unavoidable conflicts I had to cancel. In all the shows and concerts she has made appearances for none have been in my neck of the woods (central Florida). But a trip to New York to watch a performance of The Unofficial Bridgerton Muscial would be a dream come true. The only way I could make this happen is to have my spouse of 53 years agree to join me. Thanks for the tease Til and ursus I am just going to hope that its recorded in some way. Washington DC - not New York OOPS! I don't know where I got the idea that The Kennedy Center was in New York? Thanks for setting me straight Til.

Did anyone else have trouble with the Spotify Live APP? Couldn't get it for my computer but did eventually get it for my phone but by then the live was over. They have yet to post the episode on Spotify. If anyone did watch it, how was it? How did it go?

I don't know about anyone else but I was a bit surprised the girls weren't sitting together during the ceremony. I would surmise that they chose to sit with family. Saw a few pictures of Abigails parents but not Emily's. Benji is a photographer so hopefully he'll post something later. What a terrific end to a wonderful journey that Barlow and Bear have been on the past year or so, as it pertains to The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical. But what is so intriguing that there is more to come. This musical is only the beginning and I just hope that I am around long enough to watch their meteoric rise to fame continue. Congratulations ladies on your Grammy win and thank you for making it possible for all us fans to watch your creation grow from a little ditty on TicToc to an award winning album.

Nice catch with this little bit of video Till. You continue to amaze me with these wonderful gems about Emily you post here. This was particularly wonderful and informative because it gives us a glimpse of our musical genius hard at work in her true element.

With these 75 year old eye balls no chance. Some part of the images are blacked out so I suspect they don't want to give away any hints before the public release. This is all a very exciting time for Emily, a dream of hers is coming true and I am sure this is painful for her to not be able to tell the whole world what she is involved in. In the past 10 or so years I have followed her there is one human attribute that seems to work best in Emily's world, patience.

A miracle has happened....songbooks finally arrived. Congrats Till. I got mine pretty quickly but it didn't have to travel as far as yours did to Germany. I don't play any kind of an instrument so mine is just a memento and my way of supporting these young ladies in some small way. I just hope they sell enough to cover their investment.

For all that has been written and reported on by a host of different media sources, for all the various interviews Emily and Abigail have done I have to say (Emily has commented as such) that this particular article was in my personal estimation hands down the best I have read so far. What a great post eulenspiegel2. This made what was otherwise a boring "oh-hum" day into one of joy, happiness and just pure admiration for what is transpiring with these two phenoms. What excites me even more is that I am sure the best is yet to come. Lots to look forward to and with Till and URSUS updating this site on a regular basis we will get to read about it. Thank you both.

Thanks mastersgttom and eulenspiegel . I assumed that the Broadway show was Bridgerton whether or not anything has happened. I have no idea about the others, and nothing which Eulenspiegel wrote rings any bells. Forbes us certainly legitimate, but I have trouble that they know something which hasn't been written elsewhere. I doubt that Emily revealed anything to them which is not public knowledge. Abigail has been known to post things which were then deleted. Whatever is transpiring, from wherever it may come from and from whomever may provide the bit of news that this tease from Forbes has put out there, I can say that this is an exciting time for us who have followed Barlow and Bear from the beginning, and it is even more exciting for those of us that have watched Emily develop over the years into this award winning phenom that she is today. Ursus and Eulenspiegel I am just glad that the three of us who appear to be the most active on this site have a front row seat on their journey and can't wait to see where it leads.

I wish I could add something informative to your post but if this Forbes article is legit, I am a bit surprised that we didn't first hear about it from an Emily post on one of her Social Media platforms. She has hinted before that a lot of exciting things were in the works but naturally at the time could not tell us more. Two movies and a Broadway show are pretty big opportunities for Barlow and Bear and I couldn't be happier for them. What a story in itself we are witnessing with these two ladies, the success they are achieving from a simple little comment on TikTok back in January. I could see this as a nice little "Feel Good" movie about women trying to make it in the music industry. The girls are apparently on a two week "Thelma and Louise" trip right now so perhaps this is related in some way to the news that Forbes referred to.

They created a Barlow & Bear Account youtube.com/channel/UCI1s3SWxR3VnFJ5Xmxli8fgBBC4 Woman‘s hour 10.9.2021 26:12ff www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000zff1I don't know if anyone is keeping track but to give you a feel of how this album is doing, on Spotify only, this morning at 11:15am total streams (plays) was at 1,387,698. I just checked it again at 5:30pm and was shocked to see that the total was at 2,244,171. I hope I am not reading the stats wrong. I don't want to miss lead anyone but if this is correct can you imagine what the total world-wide numbers are? I am so happy for them.

Has anyone seen anything about Emily's and Abigail's performances from 12 to 14 August in England? Not a word or a single photograph. The silence is a big surprise, at least to me, considering how hyped they appeared to be on Thursday during that "announcement" video. However if you watch all of Abigail's recent TicTok postings one could think that the event never happened for them, that they missed their flight or something. All conjecture from an old retired army master sgt with nothing else to do. I'm sure we will hear or read something soon since the event has concluded and they return home to the US.

You are a lot more attuned to what Emily may or may not be doing than I am Till. I never would have come up with a Disney connection from what I was seeing. Based on the videos and posts she has provided the past few days and the reference to "Oceans Away" in one of them led me to my summation. On the subject of an ocean away the fact that you are German, live in Germany and whose primary language is German you are the heart beat of this site, a site that could become stagnant if not for your contributions, a site that highlights a young American musical genius. I can't thank you often enough. I am not 100% sure about the title...but when she posted the screenshot last week one could read „Magic is calling“ in the title.,,a few days ago she posted a short snippet sitting somewhere in Nashville with her notebook and a score...also „Magic is calling“ and she tagged Alana Da Fonseca. She is telling for over a year now that Disney stuff is in the line...so when I read „Magic is calling“ (a disneesque title) ...I just put Magic is calling + Disney in google/youtube and found the video and the announcement of the 50 years anniversary starting October 1st....it could be just coincidence...but ... I hope you don't mind me complimenting you at least one more time. I admire the way your mind works, how you are able to take little bits of information from unrelated bits of time and place and mold them into a relatable story, an ability that this 75 year old retiree no longer possesses. I guess as long as we have you in this Emily Bear Fan family the information will continue to flow. Correct, well thought out and precise information rather than the musings of an old soldier who has been following Emily's career since early 2011, visiting this site as well as all her social media sites hoping for something new about this young woman. Thankfully with the Bridgerton Musical thing going viral and all that seems to be happening from that (which she has not been able to share with us yet) there is a lot to look forward to. With your intelligence gathering skills we may be able to learn earlier than expected what the world has in store for this young prodigy. I just hope I am still around when it happens.
