Hi all, sometimes I think I live in different world because I find out something what a lot of other people already knew. Compare next photos. What have they in common? Ok, Emily. And with this photo: I think you already know what I mean. That symbol. I have to admit I didn't know what it means. Just a few days ago I found out that. Symbol of Peace. And based on wikipedia I also got to know how it came into being. "The symbol is a combination of the semaphore signals for the letters "N" and "D," standing for "nuclear disarmament". In semaphore the letter "N" is formed by a person holding two flags in an upside-down "V," and the letter "D" is formed by holding one flag pointed straight up and the other pointed straight down. Superimposing these two signs forms the shape of the centre of the peace symbol." Maybe for you it is not interesting but for me it is because I mentioned that semaphore in one of my lectures. You can find a lot of variations of it. For example: Petee

I didn't know what that symbol meant either ;D Yesterday when I was coming home from school I saw a girl with a backpack that had this symbol on it and I really wanted to know what it meant and I didn't know how to find out because you can't google that symbol (at least I didn't know how to google it ,but Peter found out). Thanks Petee!

Hi Peter, I did not know where this symbol came from. Hehe, that is an interesting little story to know. While at least where I live, in the 80s of the last century, due to the peace movement, these kind symbols were known to everyone, it seems that slowly they get forgotten and mixed, like recently someone showed me the symbol for victory (two fingers form a "V") and told me it would be the symbol for peace Dieter

Hi, I think all of you already saw latest photo on Emily's facebook. We have heard a lot of "new names" for Emily. Now we have others from Quincy Jones: "... to have this baby-lady, Lady Fleeze Kneeze on our planet ..." OK, I am able to understand "baby-lady" but what Fleeze Kneeze means I don't know. I used my vocabulary - nothing, google - something but the meaning was a bit strange. ;D Petee PS: Trini, welcome on facebook.

Hi petee, I'm not really sure what he means here but this is my best guess, he is referring Emily as a small person, she may be small right now but if she is anything like her brother Benji, she will be as tall as her mom by the time she's 14 or 15. don

Hi all, I know this is a bit off topic. However, I believe love will never be off topic anywhere. I saw one article where little children defined love. I like for example this statement: “ When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.” – Billy, age 4 more here: bluecentric.com/?p=26948Petee
