Emily is going to be on the TV show "Dancing with the Stars" according to this website: www.wetpaint.com/dancing-with-the-stars/articles/sneak-peek-of-dwts-week-8-results-show-john-legend-performs-dance-center-returns" On Tuesday’s Results Show... there will be a performance by 9-year-old piano prodigy Emily Bear, a pianist who was recently invited to play at The White House. Emily will perform with the DWTS orchestra and will be accompanied by young ballroom dance champions Sophia Latessa and Tyler Golman (age 9) and Rickie Taylor and Erik Linder (age 10). Way to make us feel old and talentless, kids!" Was Emily recently invited at the White House again? Or maybe they got the fact wrong. Regardless, I'm really excited! I can't wait until Tuesday to see Emily play the piano

Hi all, there are a lot of articles about this event on Internet but this one I like. I believe you will know why. blogs.e-rockford.com/askgeo/2010/11/08/emily-bear-on-dancing-with-the-stars-tuesday/Emily Bear on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Tuesday November 8th, 2010 at 11:55am Georgette Braun
Emily Bear, 9, of Rockford will play piano Tuesday, Nov. 9, on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
The show, the highest-rated prime-time TV program, will air at 8 p.m. on WTVO.
Emily is the youngest guest musician to ever appear on the dance competition show. She will perform with the “Dancing with the Stars” orchestra and will be accompanied by young ballroom dance champions.
“It’s going to be fun,” Emily said in a telephone conversation Monday from Los Angeles. “I’m very excited to play with the orchestra.”
Emily’s mother, Andrea Bear, said the program learned about Emily through Internet research and contacted the family several weeks ago.
Andrea said the show is making Emily an outfit to wear. “It’s probably going to be very sparkly,” Andrea said.
Emily has appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and has performed at the White House.Petee

Hi Petee,
I'll be recording Emily's performance tonight and putting it up on you tube as soon as is over, I've checked other you tube for "Dancing With the Stars" and it seems the show has no problem with posting there show. Can't wait to see what Emily will be wearing, since they are making a dress just for her, wonder if she'll be able to keep it?

Hi again, so I continue. What does Rockford Register Star write about this event? www.rrstar.com/carousel/x647557145/Pianist-Emily-Bear-shares-spotlight-on-Dancing-with-the-StarsRockford pianist Emily Bear shines on ‘Dancing with the Stars’By Georgette Braun, RRSTAR.COM, Posted Nov 09, 2010 @ 10:56 PM Wearing a sparkly, bright pink headband, matching-colored socks and a dark jacket and pants, Emily Bear, 9, of Rockford played the rockin’ “Tutti-Frutti” by Little Richard on a black Steinway piano tonight on “Dancing with the Stars.”
Young dancers performed while Emily played about two-thirds of the way into ABC’s popular dance competition show. Earlier, referring to Emily without naming her, co-host Brooke Burke told viewers they’d be hearing “the best young pianist in the country.”
Emily, who also composes musical pieces, has been playing piano since she was 2 years old. Her website is emilybear.com. blogs.e-rockford.com/askgeo/2010/11/10/emily-bear-did-rockford-proud-on-dancing/Emily Bear did Rockford proud on ‘Dancing’November 10th, 2010 at 09:19am Georgette Braun Just wish “Dancing with the Stars” would have mentioned last night that 9-year-old Emily Bear lives in Rockford so the viewing world would know where — in the words of co-host Brooke Burke — “the best young pianist in the country” lives.

And finally wkow.com: www.wkow.com/Global/category.asp?C=123750Rockford piano prodigy on "Dancing With the Stars"Posted: Nov 10, 2010 2:37 PM ROCKFORD, Ill. (WKOW) -- Tuesday night's "Dancing with the Stars" was extra special for a young Rockford girl.
Nine-year-old piano prodigy, Emily Bear performed with the "Dancing with the Stars" orchestra.
She was accompanied by young ballroom dance champions. Emily says she's thrilled to perform on a show she loves to watch.
Bear said, "My favorite part is when they dance, like when they first come out because I get to see all their outfits, they're so cool, I love their outfits."
Emily has already performed at the White House and will be playing at Carnegie Hall in December.

Hi, I was still looking for some video from backstage, but ABC TV didn't publish any such video from this part. However, today I found on youtube one with Emily as well for a while. Some time ago when I saw this photo: I was thinking whether Emily likes to dance. I think she likes to dance as I saw her to dance (just) for herself after both concerts in Italy. It was beautiful. And to see just Emily in this video for a few seconds I think it is clear how Emily loves to dance. ;D Petee
