does anyone have the sheet music for journey to my heart ? perhaps you can post it up . I see you are very impatient . You can not wait to see new CD and sheet book like me. However, I am afraid nobody on this forus has musical sheet for "Journey to my heart". Maybe look at this thread if you have not been there yet for inspiration: emilybear.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=64&page=1#528Petee

The song I enjoy/cherish/admire the most: 'Freestyle'.
I've been listening to it a couple of times and more and more I began to realise just how brilliant the composition is. Not only is it broadly developed artisticly, but it combines the two styles Emily persues, Jazz and Classical. And it's done so well I could not believe my ears. Try telling someone that you can mix Jazz and Classical, and they will laugh. Then tell them it's a work of a 6-year-old.
Floored again.
If Emily is wise beyond her years, her music goes even beyond that (if you know what I mean).
Btw, many many thx for the link to that great streaming site. I am of course planing on buying ALL there is to Emily's compositions available, but at the moment the site was a life saver for me (I managed to download the songs and berid of the glitches, so now I can fill my home (and heart) with beautiful music).

Alot of people seem to like "Freestyle", I've seen her play it on a couple of occasions and she seems to like to play it. btw...have you heard Emily play Mozart concerto #23 with the Rockford orchestra, she is amazing I listen to this at least once a week and never tire of it..if you need the link to where it is I can PM it to you.

Yes, I downloaded your compiled version. Many thanks for it. I loved it too. Emily is brilliant performing... If you don't overdo terribly, classicals never tire you or get borring. That's their magic. When Emily performs, the magic is even more... magical

Hi all, There is new video on youtube with Emily's song "Journey to my heart". So, I decided to make this post. I have to admit that Emily's "Journey to my heart" is still my most favorite Emily's composition. Every time I hear this song I have to stop all actions I perform and have to listen and dream. It is so beautiful song that If I could play it I would play it all the days. ;D And my dream is to see Emily play this song in person. And although there some youtube videos where other people play this song but all of them are far from how it is played by Emily. I made summarization of all youtube videos where Emily plays this song and was thinking which one I like the most. So here they are: I like to see Emily when I listen to this song and we have only one such video (first one, Emily plays it at 1:46), but its quality is not very good. So if I can choose I would choose first two (Don's) videos. Petee PS: Tell us your favorite version (video) of this song.

Hi Peter,
"Journey To My Heart" is still my favorite Emily composition even though I really like "Northern Lights" but I like both for different reasons. There are so many Emily compositions I could comment on, but Emily just has a way of teasing your mind and still touching your soul...the future is gonna be wonderful.

Hi, I am slowly listening (step by step) to various pianists belonging to genre "New age" how I found out other day and where Emily also belongs if I am not wrong. Now I just discovered Brian Crain with his amazing composition " Moonrise". I also noticed that he has composed song with title "Northern lights". So I decided to make this post and look if and how other pianists feel this phenomenon. I found using the youtube following compositions: The last one is not originally composed for piano. So you can see variability. I am not going to announce any winner although for all of us the winner is already known long ago. ;D Petee PS: I don't know who composed that song played in fourth video. I have to admit when I saw her smile at the end I had to smile as well and she had the similar part of dress as Emily has on her blue dress I don't know English word maybe "sack" but that of this woman is very very long. ;D

Different composers, different compositions, the same event and how these musicians interpret it. It's a wonderful world that music can bring. I like all the clips and the fourth one was written by Elizabeth Borowsky in 2002 the same young lady that played the piece, she was quite good and seemed to have a passion for the music and yes her smile does get to you. I would say she was in her teens when she composed that song. Emily was six and I like Emily's interpretation far better than the others even though the others were very good.

OK because I was unable to record Saturdays concert I give you a video I've never shared before, it was performed at the Children's museum in Chicago and Emily played "A Journey to my Heart" she played it because she knew I was gonna be there and knew it was my favorite. This is set on Unlisted and I want it to stay that way,it's only for the members of the forum.
