This is a very accurate revue of the happenings of last Wednesday and yes there was a very long line to get into the theater and I was first in line. I was able to hear most of the sound check which was followed by photo opps from the photographers already in the theater. It seemed like forever before they let us in but once they did I was able to get the seat I wanted, more or less, the first row was reserved by Quincy but luckily no one sat in front of me only a few minor mishaps by photographers during the first song as you can tell by the video. It may be apparent on the video's that Emily was conducting the trio or quartet from the piano bench, not only were they following her lead they were all on one page during the entire concert, it was an amazing thing to watch. I still say watching it on video you lose something in the translation, maybe it's the electricity in the air as she plays.
One thing I really admire about Andrea is Emily is always available to talk to her fans after the concert, even in NYC after the concert at Carnegie Hall Emily talked to us on the street and she made sure everyone got to meet Emily. I will admit that Andrea looked a little tired on this occasion but believe me traveling will do that to you. In the end I want to thank Andrea for all the wonderful things she does for us, she is giving us the opportunity to glimpse into the life of a future superstar.

I've emailed/contacted Emily (I'm guessing it was her mom who answered) via email or YouTube a couple of times and she - or whoever answered - was always very pleasant!!!! :) I hope to get to meet the both of them sometime!!!!!

It was quite surprising for me to see the stiff acting of the hosts and how they were presented by the director of the show. He should be fired!!!! Onlly in the end they get a more livelier. I realized how extrem well educated Andrea Bear is. She outclassed the hosts in every aspect. She does not seem to be nervous in contrast to the hosts. Thats ridicoulous. In contrast to these "dilletantes" sorry the host of fox news 32 was perfect, funny etc. In the beginning the stand there like pillar of salt, why not a few dance moves to Salsa Americana(Thanks Andreea).-))) I know that one of the rules for moderators is to hold your hands in front of your body but in the womens case it looks so uptight. Normally a host put something in his hands, so the guy has an advantage. The women look like confirmees-))) Why not let them sit around the piano and have some fun time.-)))) The show is not watched by young people I think? Emily in the contrast gets on interviews better and better. She in a way broke the ice of the hosts in the end It was funny while Emily was playing "Salsa Americana" the man put one hand in his trouser pocket. Suddenly he realized his "mistake" ooops-))) and then stand like a stiff soldier again. Normally it is a rule for moderators not put hands in trouser pocket because it looks as if they are bored ... But sometimes rules have to be broken. For a glimpse of a moment he looks like a human being-))) but then he has to mangle his hands during the rest of Salsa Americana because he has to surpress his emotions. The concept was great. But as I said the director of the shw who let them stand like this. A no go-)))

I like the show actually, cause it's Emily in You are right, the co-moderators look a bit stiff, but Emily breaks the ice, as you say. Emily proves once again her amazing talent, this time improvisations on randomly chosen motives. It was great to see her in a tv interview again.
