The Queen Latifah staff spelled her name on their preview video in their youtube channel " BAER"! Perhaps its a german apprentice-) bear ( engl.) - Bär or BAER ( germ.)
On the info page they made a link to Emilys homepage.

I just checked you tube, it seems like there are alot of QL video's up that are not from QL so if everything goes right on my recording I'll post on you tube as soon as I have the video.

Oh my poor Don and many others, she is already better than Conny Talbot and Jackie Ecancho combined especially when it comes to authenticity!-) I hope they both watch and learn-)
It was totally unplugged!
Thank you Emily, it does not have to be 100% perfect but the real soul is important.

Emily is a perfectionist, so she is always shooting for 100%. :-)

Don, did she talk with Emily longer. Perhaps you could upload in a few days the whole QJ interview or the complete Emily with full reaction, but perhaps ask first.

On a side note, I just checked to see how Diversity was doing, and if it has gotten any sort of bounce so far. The answer is a definite YES! Amazon: CD #839 Music, #33 Jazz Link: Diversity

I think Emily sang really well, and she will only get better over time.
I bet Don even saw some improvement in her singing when he saw her perform recently.

She's got a good voice!!! I love how she seemed a tad adorably nervous at the beginning. Certainly hope to be hearing her sing more in the future! Her singing voice sounds so much different than her speaking voice. ^_^

The video of Emily singing should get much more clicks. But I think most people don't realize how also still much improvement there will be when Emily gets older and her volume growth she sings in a very difficult artistic style. If you watch Connie Talbot or Anna Graceman there voice seem to be much stronger but Emily uses a much more " subtile blade" :- feinere Klinge in German). The others use all their air amd power when there are difficult parts, but I never saw there any vibrato in Emilys style. Secondly you have to realize Emily sat and was a bit nervous. I would like to hear Anna Graceman, who is very good!!!! or Connie Talbot sing totally unplugged in this subtile style. If you compare Emily Bear with Jackie Evancho, Evancho sound amazing but she used at her Latifah gig some help of sound effects and I felt no real emotion, as in most of her gigs, sorry Don, Cer and the others. The first time I thought - wow Jackie really can sing! - when I saw her video singing the anthem in the stadium - no effects! no senseless acting!, just pure singing. Let Anna, Connie , even Jackie sing " Girl of Ipanema" totally unplugged! and compare that with Emily with closed eyes! - I think many would be surprised!

eulenspiegel, no need to say you are sorry in regards to Jackie Evancho. I think she is talented, but I'm not a huge fan. I do believe that Jackie has a nice voice, but she also has at her disposal some very good sound equipment to work with imho.
Fans of Emily generally know that this is very early in her singing career, and will definitely give her some slack. I have read a few negative comments about her singing, but most folks so far have been rather kind. :-)
In regards to the number of views she has gotten so far, over at Latifah's youtube page she has over 3,000 hits.
