They created a Barlow & Bear Account youtube.com/channel/UCI1s3SWxR3VnFJ5Xmxli8fgBBC4 Woman‘s hour 10.9.2021 26:12ff www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000zff1I don't know if anyone is keeping track but to give you a feel of how this album is doing, on Spotify only, this morning at 11:15am total streams (plays) was at 1,387,698. I just checked it again at 5:30pm and was shocked to see that the total was at 2,244,171. I hope I am not reading the stats wrong. I don't want to miss lead anyone but if this is correct can you imagine what the total world-wide numbers are? I am so happy for them.

All I have seen is the position.

In the app I can see only the top 5 songs numbers but you have to keep in mind that they have no label, Emily Bear produced everything (only in one song a co-producer) So they get literally everything - also the big labels chunk..this is the big advantage being independent here how it is normally http://instagr.am/p/CM-cD-LDma2 http://instagr.am/p/CNK-EKDj6ZM

Poster geb wrote a series of posts starting on Sep 19, 2021 at 10:57pm (eastern time) on the Emily Bear thread on the Jackie Evancho Fans board about what has to be done to get The Bridgerton Musical on Broadway in NYC or the West End in London. It should start on this page jackieevanchofans.proboards.com/thread/365/emily-bear?page=17.

Considering the recent history of the Bridgerton Musical (Elsie Fest, Kennedy Center, Today Show, the unofficial album) seems very positive, I would think that serious negotiations are going on to turn it into an actual musical. I suspect that major stumbling block is how would Netflix be involved. I have no inside knowledge, but I think that what they really want is a percentage of the income. I cannot believe that having a musical at the same time that seasons 2 (and 3, etc.) were being broadcast would cut their revenue at all. More so, it would increase it because there are people who will only find out about the Netflix broadcast because of the musical. I would be interested in knowing if these recent events I listed have caused a spike in viewing of season 1.
Since Barlow and Bear based the musical on the Netflix series although they may have read the books since they wrote most of the songs, it seems like Netflix/Shondaland is with whom the negotiations are taking place.
