There could be a nice kind of finger excercise for Emily in song writing. As you know I got on your nerves with this strange European Song Contest. This year there are alteady 7 of 8 competitors for the German entry in 2014.
The last competitor has to apply at NDR German, until 22.1.2014. they choose 10 whose songs are played in radio, there is a voting, and then the winner competes against the 7 others on a big show in Gemany.
Emily cannot be the artist on stage as he/she should be at least 16 on 10.5.2014 at a european broadcasted show watched by 100 Mio people. But she would get the big trophy -)
because it is a composers contest!
I did not read any restrintions for the composers.
When Germany won in 2010, the song "Satelite" was written by Julie Frost,
. ( Julie Frost on a german TV show herself singing the song unplugged)
who later won also a Golden Globe for as song with Madonna.
ABBA won in 1974 this contest with "Waterloo"-)
Emily could colobarate with Andreas or just write a song by herself. Perhaps she knows an interested german artist who would like to sing the song, there is no restriction for the language of the lyrics.

Emily could also try in other European Countries, perhaps with Andreas for Ireland on stage (he is over 16) . I don't know if Slovakia will take part. Or perhaps a colloboration with Andreea and some nice Romanian lyrics-) and they try in Romania. with a good!!! Romanian singer
I want to do more with the people I already write with – I love them all! I’m so looking forward to 2012. I have my “go to crew” – I’ve mentioned a few already. And my great producer pal Alex Geringas is living in Glendale now, so we don’t have to coordinate L.A. to Hamburg Skypes anymore. I’m lucky to be doing a musical for the State Theater of Austria with composer Martin Lingnau. Russ DeSalvo, Jeff Bova, Carly Greenberg, Arden Kaywin, Jose Cancela, Jesse Weeks…not to mention my youngest collaborator, Emily Bear – her music is just all heart. I know it’s unusual to want what you have, but there it is.
"“All Of Me” by John Legend, “If I Were A Boy” by Beyonce, “Big Girls Don’t Cry” by Fergie, “Skyscraper” by Demi Lovato or “Untouched” by the Veronicas are some of the songs of Toby you might know. Toby is a Danish-born music producer and songwriter. Since the age of 7 Toby is making and performing music, and at just 18 years old had his first platinum success with Milli Vanilli. After many records in Europe Toby moved to the US, where he writes #1 hits for many of the biggest artists in the World. Amongst many nominations, his songs have won 3 Grammy Awards and many other accolades and he has written several charitable songs with the United Nations and for other important causes. "
according to a few photos on internet in recent month, like today
If it's for her, kind of intern, learning (preperation for Berklee) + own music or if she is now part of his team?
a few weeks ago
he got 50, and Emily had also posted a insta story of Natasha Bedingfield singing at this party
The third picture here is titled "Emily Bear 'FOMO'". It is the only one of the four which is protected if you try to click on it. I suspect that the link will work after Emily's pop CD is released, and it will be the video for FOMO.
mastersgttom: Looking forward to 2019, hopefully it will include the long anticipated release of that EP Emily has been teasing us with. I thought for sure it was going to be available before X-mas but the suspense continued. Happy New Year everyone

eulenspiegel: The Fomo video is nearly a year old - the song is fantastic - but is the video really still authentic - she was 16 when it was filmed - this year she will get 18 -in teen years an eternity

eulenspiegel: She kind of released/shared her new music in Live in the Vineyard..so waiting makes no sense - and if there are contracts whatever to be made - her management/lawyers should be working 24/7

eulenspiegel: last April soon/stay tuned - July soon/stay tuned. - Seotember/October -soon/stay tuned - Live in the Vineyard - EP release one day later would have made sense

eulenspiegel: Sorrry for my frustration ...but this soon, soon, soon without any more comunication/totally lack of concrete communication is for a german quite a torment ..
Dec 31, 2018 21:09:49 GMT -6
mastersgttom: I fully understand your frustration eulenspiegel and I empathize with you. I have wondered what Emily's definition of "soon" is but I am sure what ever it may mean to her it is to some degree controlled by those who are managing her career.

mastersgttom: I feel that the release dates on this new music in what ever form it may take is not entirely up to Emily. I have learned to be real patient when it comes to hearing anything new regarding Emily's rise to fame. Hope the new year will bring some news.
