Hi friends,
I think it would be nice if we get to know each other a bit. Of course you are absolutely free about whether and what you want to share. Be aware that this thread is world readable.
So for my own person: My name is Dieter (spelled Deeter, not like diet). I am from Germany and a professional computer guy. I came to this forum stuff last summer when I laid down sick and by searching the internet stumbled over Connie Talbot, that incredible young singer and runner up on the first season of Britain's Got Talent show. On Connie's forum Don hinted me to another incredible talent named "Emily Bear", who just floored me with her amazing music. When finally Don created this forum for Emily there was now doubt for me to join and as Don asked for some help I got this job of an admin.

Hi all,
Dieter started and I would like to continue. I have already sent many posts here where I probably revealed something about my admiration of Emily, but anyway.
My "nickname" is Petee but you can call me Peter as well. I am 36 and I am university teacher. I come from the small country situated in the center of Europe - Slovakia. My way to Emily is similar to Dieter's way in some aspects. Till last year autumn I probably lived in different world because I didn't know anything about serie "... has got talent". Last autumn it took place in my country I found my first favourite talent and started to search others. Thanks the possibilities of Internet and youtube too I found Connie Talbot (another incredible talent) and then EMILY and her amazing talent to play the piano and her amazing compositions and at the same time Don created this forum. That's all briefly.

Hi Natalia, thank you that you introduced yourself here. I would like to use Dieter's words from another forum: we (me, you and Dieter) are basically neighbours (Germany, Poland and Slovakia). Even I come from a willage situated next to Polish boundaries. And even we all have the same dream. Probably I will start here dreaming section soon. Petee

Hi everybody! Thank you for supporting our 'Queen of hearts' as I call Emily. I am a fan of piano music and came about Emily surfing Youtube for our best national pianist of the Netherlands, where I live, which is Wibi Soerjadi.
Emily's music and passion struck me from the first second I heard her play. She is simply touched by an angel and there must be a deeper meaning from God sharing this beautiful talented girl with us.
It will be hard for Emily to understand the kind of emotions she brings about in us adults, but she seems comfortable with it and that's all that counts. She seems excited to bring joy to our lives and although she's only 8 years old now, she's already some kind of mother Teresa, loving and caring for the sick and suffering and showing us what's really important in life, namely joy, hapiness, health and the love of our family.
Although I'm not actively religeous, I think Emily was a gift of God to the world. She was born only 11 days before the terrible attacks of september 11 2001 and being a jewish girl herself, I hope Emily will soon understand what important role she can play for bringing together all religions and races on our planet. Only by playing her God-like music she can accomplish what no politician will ever be able to accomplish, namely a sense of world-peace.
Once Emily starts playing it feels like the world unites and there will be no more war, hunger, terror, anger or greed on our beautiful planet. I really feel Emily does this to us and the more people will listen to her music, the more they will think the same I hope. I really feel that her music brings up the best in all of us and therefore I thank her and God for sharing her with us.
Therefore I want to contribute to this forum and stay informed about what's going on in her and your lives and if maybe she will visit my country one day. I'm not sure if I want to sit first row then, because it might seem odd to other people te see an adult man cry over piano music, but if Emily starts playing from her heart, that's what happens to me.
ok, folks, that's enough for now. Hope I will be able to make some contributions to this forum and nice to get to know you all! Hope I did this post correct, because I'm not so familiar with posting on forums.

Hi!!
Well, my name is Angelina, I´m 21 and I´m from Argentina. I watch Emily for the first time on The Ellen Show. I was on youtube looking for the talented children who came to that show, and i found this beautiful girl. I fell in love instantly with her music.
I don´t know how to describe her. She is a miracle. I save on my mp6, the video of Emily´s compositions(the one that is on youtube), and I watch an listen to it every day on my way to University.
I hope one day she could come to Argentina.
And Nick, it´s really beautiful all the thigs you wrote about Emily

Hi all . I am 13 , from Singapore and i came across Emily on a friend's blog . One of my friends , xj , who is also a member of this forum , is also a fan of Emily . Both of us would dicuss about Emily and try to play her songs by ear on the piano in school . The first video i watched about Emily is the WGN video . I was inspired by her not just to play the piano , but also to help others as well . A few months ago i would not have cared about anything on music and prodigies , but Emily inspired me . I hope Emily would continue to compose more songs and i really do wish her sheet music book and 4th CD would come out as soon as possible . I am dying for more of her songs and hope that i would get to hear all her 180 ++ songs some day . Life is boring without Emily 's music . ;D

I would also like to hear all her compositions she has composed so far. It is a pity that America is so far. So much I would like to see Emily in person but not possible now. Maybe I should start to save my money. ;D ;D Petee

Hi All. I realise this should have been my 1st post but... oh well... better late than later, eh?
I'm Mike and I'm from Poland (for any Polish members - Michal). Caretaker is my WoW alter ego... or at least used to be when I was still involved in the creation and maintenance of the best private WoW blizzclone server there was (and probably still is). Slim chance anybody here would know me from there so I'm not gona go on about it.
I learned about Emily only today (from youtube) and was floored by the kid. Honestly, what else to say..?
Glad to have found this forum. See ya all on the boards.
Cheers
