en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thaïs_(opera)Meditation de Thais is a part of Massenets opera, a kind od Entract music put between the two scenes of second act. it marks / symbolizes the transformation (catharsis/purification) from a ..... to a saint. German wikipedia is much more straight It was originally written for strings and orchestra Berlin Philarmonics - Waldbühne 2006 but there are many transcriptione, also for piano

Zuill Bailey / Emily Bear - Meditation de Thaïs
( cello/ piano)
is now available on the Classical Arizona App. In a short intro the host tells something about the piece and that it was recorded at Mesa Arts Center. At the end you hear applause. So it seems that the recording is from October, 30th 2014 but I cannod decide if its from the Mesa Center or from the gig at the elementary school beforehand.
