Hi all, some info about Emily's performance in the event " Young Steinway Concert" which takes place on November 1. www.skokielibrary.info/s_programs/pr_performances/steinway.aspThere is one video (slideshow) about Emily at that page. I think it is good to look at it. However, I need your help. I don't know if my memory is so short or what but I don't remember that I would see so far last picture from that slideshow. Yes, Emily was many times in that pose but I don't remember that dark blue dress. There is also another page but with the same info: www.skokienet.org/node/23408Petee

Hi everybody! I made a music video about Emily. I hope you like it. It is dedicated to all the people from this lovely forum, as a way of say THANK YOU for creating this site. I do not post so much, but I read all the comments you left. It´s nice to see how many people love and admire this beautiful and talented girl. And sorry for the pianists who watch this video, because it´s clear the difference between the song (from the movie The Piano) and what Emily is playing. But I decided to use it for two reasons. First I love this music since I listen to it for the first time (I think many of you think the same), and second, because for me leaves a message of love and passion, things that Emily give to us every time she plays the piano. Hi angy, thanks for this video. You have put together my very favourite song and very beautiful moments from Emily's videos. (As if I make it ;D) It is a pity that it doesn't take at least 1 hour. Nice job. Petee

Hi all, thanks Don for that video. I like it. I like also the music in background. It is beautiful. Don't you know what is it or who composed it. I would like to include it in my favourite songs list. I have (found) one youtube video where situation is opposite. Music is by Emily and image is about Ellen and ... Maybe it is not very suitable for this thread but I hope you don't get angry with me for that. ;D Petee PS: By the way, Don, congratulations to your 200th post .

Don, , look, what is on musical sheets on piano, don't you recognise it. Petee Ok it's the back of "Five Years Wise" but if this was Emily why would she have the CD there in fact you don't see music sheets in front of Emily that often...lol...I just wish I could remember where I saw that picture before. don Hi, Don, don't bother your memory . I know the answer I only wanted to make my post a bit different like to post it directly with answer. I also wanted to give a chance to other forum members to express their opinion. ;D So, here is first photo and below another that is closely related to first one. And I think this answers my question. Both photos are clickable if you want to see original page. However, what's for me more interesting that man (Aaron) made with Emily interview and I didn't see it so far. On his microphone there is logo with number "23" so I don't know what does it mean but will try to find out. If somebody has some more information about it please tell me. Petee

Hi everyone, It has been such a long time since I came here! Hello everyone and welcome new members I came across this You Tube video today, and I really thought, could this be Emily in 10 years time. I don't mean to make comparisons or say Emily will be exactly like this - but something about this video in particular (there are other videos of this pianist) captures a kind of 'Emily Bear' spirit. Especially her facial expressions (at 0:08 and 0:50-0:55), and youthful joy and soul in her piano playing, really remind me of Emily. Also it is a very fine performance of a Chopin etude (technically and musically). You can see she is having fun, she is smiling all the way through Having said that, looking into the future, I'm fairly confident Emily could be this technically brilliant by late teens and early 20s. That is, I secretly hope she concentrates more on classical music (she will have to choose at some point, to specialize on classical or jazz). I think Emily could bring alot to Chopin's compositions. Love, Allegra ;D Allegra, thanks for this video and thanks you posted this woman pianist here. It is not very obvious to see smile on faces of adult pianists, but this woman doesn't have a problem to express her joy from playing in this way. I like it and I also like her as she plays and smiles. I hope that Emily doesn't lose her beautiful smile with increasing age. I don't know why but this video remainded me another video of Heather Martin (I like her voice). Maybe you will like it. Petee
