there is one sentence inside that article where Emily's name is mentioned, but it is in Italian language. I used web translator and got next translation:
"Between the many promised young people the piu' small of age is the pianist and compositor Emily Bear hardly 8 years that Saturday 5 to Bevagna with an exhibition to the pianoforte will close festival with to Marta Marinelli all' harp and 6 Sunday June to Assisi where she will be protagonist of a happening."
I think we can understand what it tries to tell. ;D

Petee,
Thanks for posting this. I felt that Emily was probably getting some tempting offers to play overseas. For whatever reason, Emily probably has more fans overseas (perhaps they appreciate such supreme virtuosity overseas but I do not know).
I hope those responsible for this appearance will ensure there are some photos and, hopefully, some video from this event.
You know, I often close my eyes when listening to classical music but I don't when I watch Emily play. She brings an energy to the piano that is just too fascinating to miss, regardless of what she is playing.
Does that news article indicate a harpist will be playing with Emily or in addition to Emily? I didn't quite get it but if you don't read or write Italian, like me, we may have to wait for someone who does to get that clarified.
if I understood it correctly it says that Emily plays (probably) solo recital in June 5th in Bevagna and next day (June 6th) Marta Marinelli plays the harp in Assisi what is the last concert of that festival.
Other photos I prepare later and need also to ask Andrea for permission (as I promised her).
Petee
PS: I took a lot of photos but unfortunately my camera is not suitable for such complicated lighting indoor conditions. So, a lot of them are not usable (they are very blurred).
Petee, lucky you!!! I couldn't go there... but I'm going to see Emily when she goes somewhere closer. And how was it? I'm sure that it was wonderful! Did you meet Emily "face to face"? You must to have many many beautiful memories... Anna
sorry I am a bit stingy with information from Italy but I am very busy now and had deadlines for some work.
However, now I have a little time so at least some photos and some comments. At the first I start with Saturday's concert in Bevagna. I booked accommodation in one hotel in Assisi so I had to arrive to Bevagna but I reserved whole day for that so I came to Bevagna at 3pm and concert started at 9pm. I had enough time to look around.
Of course first what I did in Bevagna was the find of theater. It was very easy and here you can see poster about Emily's concert.
this is photo of main square where theater is situated and Don already posted it in black and white version.
and here you can see entire square with all significant buildings around it
I spent a lot of time before theater so I could watch two weddings walking on that square and taking photos directly before the entrance to theater (upstairs)
Then time of concert arrived and I reserved one seat in the box (finally I was alone there) so it was comfortable but later I realised that it wasn't so good idea because I could film entire concert with zoom it was not a problem but sound was not very strong and I also recorded all background sounds. Nobody is perfect. I think I don't have to say that concert was amazing and Marta Martinelli playing harp was also excellent. After concert some people stayed at the auditorium where all Bear family with Emily also remained. I addressed Andrea Bear just when they came to theater and was very surprised that she recognized me (how I don't know so far :-)). After concert I also (of course) remained in auditorium and sometimes discussed with Andrea or Brian despite of my terrible English (I thank them for their patience). It was everything so exciting to see Emily so close to me just tearing about. Andrea also introduced me to Emily. Wow. I was just speechless at that moment just smiling at Emily. I took some photos. Here they are:
Andrea taking picture of both performers and woman organizing and hosting entire concert
I thought that I am only one so crazy fan who came from far away, but I was wrong. One married couple came from Belgium to see Emily too so they came even from farer distance than me.
And last picture where Emily is taking picture. She likes to do that.
After concert (excited) I had only one problem how to return to Assisi at 11:30pm 30 km far when no buses and trains available at that time. Only taxi.
First of all congratulations on your 500th post...I really do appreciate you around here, your a valued member and a great moderator...so let me say thank you.
All your pictures look great, it's fun taking pictures when your subject is Emily that smile of hers can just melt your heart, but through out all the pictures I don't see the most important one...a picture of you and Emily together, I sure hope you got one you've been waiting long enough to meet Emily and I can't believe you let the moment pass without that photo.
There is a short clip of Emily in Italy on you tube, the video is not very good and the audio is marginal but it does give me an idea of what Emily sounded like there and as always she sounded great.
I'm glad you enjoyed both concerts, it is a real treat to hear Emily play in person, you get some idea through you tube but it's not the same as being there and experiencing the way Emily can make the keyboard come to life...as it's been said before "she is just a joy to listen to".

Don,
thank you very much for your congratulations and mainly for your nice words. Sometimes I have moments when I consider if I don't post here too much if I am not boring you with my posts and with my open personal comments. Don, I am afraid that I would probably also post here so much without my moderator title because time spent on this forum and reading, watching, listening and googling for Emily although beyond all understanding for my friends belongs to my happy whiles. However, I appreciate my moderator title.

Yes, you are again right. During both events with Emily in Italy my camera was still ready to catch anything interesting and as Emily was still tearing about I was taking pictures every moment. I had only one problem that Emily was too fast for my camera and in most of cases she moved in some direction and final photo was blurred . And concerning that most important photo you mentioned. It would be really strange if I didn't gain it there. Even if I didn't know any English word I would ask for it. ;D And now I really don't remember who mentioned there to take common photo whether Andrea or me. I think it was Andrea. You can find that picture in my next post.

I watched that clip, I have remembered that man in the first row filming Emily. I believe I will soon publish some my recordings and at least image will be better because sound is also very marked by background noise. However, next time I will be prepared much better to cope with this problem. However, I am still only amateur in this area.

don
Yes, you can see performance in HD or projected on the wall but still it is far from real experience (presence). It is not comparable.
I knew you wouldn't let the moment pass without having your picture taken with Emily...it's a great picture, maybe next year if Emily excepts the invitation to return to the festival we can get a group picture of you, me, Dieter and Emily. I saving my money.
eulenspiegel2: most things have some delay because of the custom service...and very likely Emily and Abigail did not pay for speed shifting/transport...

Ursula: Unfortunately I can't read the German forum. Sigh. Too bad they haven't said anything. You'd think their lawyers would come out with a statement at the least. And they keep posting on social media like everything is normal.

Ursula: Also why is that other forum in German. Why not English?
Sept 7, 2022 23:15:55 GMT -6
eulenspiegel2: it is a German forum...about German pop singer... you may be surprised...but the USA is not the center of the world - it is like US people coming to Europe wondering why not signs in English ..

ursus: Ursula, Google Translate works very well if you translate from German into English and you just need to understand the meaning of what was written. It does still require an understanding of German if you want to use it to post in that language.

ursus: IIRC B&B's lawyers have until 9/23 to respond to the lawsuit. It would not make sense for them to make a public statement before that. B&B themselves have undoubtedly been instructed not to say anything either. That makes sense to me.

mastersgttom: For the benefit of all the members and the guests who visit this site be advised that there is a You Tube video out there of Barlow and Bear doing a live stream. The video was posted by Epic Wonderland. Where she got it I have no clue.
Mar 8, 2024 12:53:33 GMT -6
mastersgttom: The video of the live stream cannot be found on any of their social media platforms. At least from any of my feeble attempts. The video is a bit hard to watch because the audio is totally out of sync with the video.

mastersgttom: What I got out of the video was that it had nothing to do with Moana. They were very mum about their work on that movie. Bling Ring came up in some of the comments. A bit odd that they have a live stream out there, writing music, and not making it public.

mastersgttom: Wow! I just noticed that it has been a little over a year since anyone has posted anything in this Shoutbox. Eluenspiegel was the last one. I messaged him this discovery a week ago but haven't heard back. He used to be the most active member here.
