Hi all, as all of you know Emily Bear and Hollie Steel have performed in Carnegie Hall two weeks ago. As far as I know it was first planned that both would perform together, but there have been problems with Hollie's visa, so she just came in last moment and it seems plans had to be changed. Nevertheless I think it is time to show a bit of Hollie. She was one of the most outstanding talents of last years Britain's Got Talent show. She lost to Susan Boyle, but this did not hold her. She published her first album "Hollie" this summer which I only can recommend to anyone who loves classical voice. Some songs like "God help the Outcast" I can't help, but it drives tears to my eyes. And she released her first Christmas album only a week or so ago. Now at Carnegie hall the first time she could show her extraordinary talent to US people, and from what I hear it was a major success. Personally I support her for a while already, and luckily I even could meet her and her family already. So now I can say, I like Hollie not only for her music, but I very much like her as a person, as well as her very nice family. Here is the official video for the Christmas album, so you get an impression or her and her voice: Dieter Edit: well, forgot almost, of course there is an official page: www.holliesteelmusic.com/, and there is a forum: www.holliesteel.org.uk/forum/.

Hi all, last Saturday I had the great good fortune to meet Hollie and family for the second time, at a wonderful concert put up by Nina and Hollie's theatrical school in Leatherhead near London. The show was fantastic, and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner together with the Steels. Here are the first videos from that evening: and a video from the dinner, made by Don: Dieter
