As I wrote yesterday today is the New Years Eve Concert of the Berlin Philarmonics. If you watch this you may have luck and see our chancellor Angela Merkel. She is a bit of a groupie of Simon Rattle and the Berlin Philarmonics-))))
Here Diane Reeves in the 2003 Gala " Ravel meets Gershwin"
Here a short piece of 2004.
"O Fortuna" Carmina Burana -Carl Orff
at 0:24 and 2:19ff there are the big moments of the crash cymbals. Sarah wouldn't you like to play crash cymbals in such a concert-))
They seem to play this year again Dvorcak - Slavonic Dance Nr1
With this I wish a Happy New Year, to all members and to Emily!!

Here Ray Charles live 1981
The Santa Fe Concert Association reposted on their fb page the snippet of Perelada and wrote that Perelada will be one song on Emilys upcoming CD. So we know at least one title.-)))

Our first Wizard of Oz performance is tonight. Oh goodness, I'm not sure we're ready... But anyway, this is the opening music. I think this is the song we're best at. I'm so nervous. :0

Such a show would be something for Emily
Andreas Varady - David Lyttle " A day in New york" ( Andreas Varady)
As Andreas is also managed now by Quincy Jones this would be an awsome duo, perhaps Nikki Yanofski as a and Jonathan as a violonist.
