Well, you can catch Emily in Rockford at her orchestral debut with the Rockford Symphony Orchestra on March 28 at the Coronado Performing Arts Center." I don't know but it sure seems like Emily is already part of the classical music touring thing. I doubt they'll allow recording inside the arts center but it sure would be nice .... maybe there will be official recordings? Arnold

Wow,
I love the piano, can't play myself, but love it and Emily is beyond words. She plays with sure grace. One talented little girl.

Hi Dieter,
This is nearly all Don's doing. He's done a great job, too. All I did was advise him on a few things but not very much.
Emily is a rare prodigy but she is also a lovely young lady with a wonderful heart and melting smile.
Others have said the same thing but I say it, too, if she can do this now what will she wow us with when she's older?
Emily may come to define the music scene in the future.

This video is absolutely beautiful. don Emily wrote that wow. That is beautiful, and she is a true musician, because you can she she doesn't just use her hands she expresses with her whole body. I have seen that with my husband and it is coming so deep from inside them it just comes to the surface they play with their hearts. She is something unbelievable on the piano. Faye

When I saw this photo I thought of what you have told me and how true it is: blue really fits Emily. Dieter

I listened to a few more videos by Emily today and I think there is something about the music she composes that just makes me happy.
Youngsters like Emily sure give me hope for the future. I can only enjoy her music -- their music -- from afar but we are blessed to have them with us.
Emily is going on eight and already has a music portfolio that old masters would envy. I hope she pursues music for a long, long time. We will all be better for it.
I will support Emily in whatever small ways I can.

Saturday night Emily will be performing with the Rockford Symphony Orchestra playing Mozart's concerto #23 this is the piece Ellen discussed on Emily's last visit. Emily memorized the entire thing. I find this amazing how many of the musicians up there will be playing without sheet music, I'll bet only one, Emily.
I did check on tickets again this morning and found there is a good one left, second row near the center. I may go to this I'll decide today.

Famed pianist Horowitz could play it without sheet music but I doubt very many can, I don't care how long they've been playing. For someone as young as Emily to play a challenging concerto like Mozart's No. 23 without sheet music is absolutely incredible. Young magic workers like Emily keep my jaw locked in a permanent open position. Arnold
