Hi accskaguy,
Yeah, I see this. I think the number of stars is the main criteria for the daily win. Each daily win is nominated for the final, where a group of judges then will look at the videos and give points on other creteria like creativity. The voting will be taken into account, too. I think Emily has a very good chance there if she is able to enter the final.
To get the contest more fair I would say, vote not only Emily's videos. Julian Pavone is great, and also that "singer" at #23 is good. I will search for other talents. Of course I would love if our fans made sure we keep the head start, it's 33 hours left, so lets see what happens :-)
I went through that page and found some more Emily videos. I took the freedom voting them a bit more to the front, and it seems again someone helped me, because they all went more to the front than I pushed them.
I would like the field to be more mixed, though.

12:29 UTC (2:29 PM my local time) Emily got to #1
Thanks so much to all fans who supported Emily, and lets keep going on, still 50 hours, lots of things can happen still!
Dieter
Edit: 1:00 PM UTC - wow I am not voting currently, but I just took a look and votes go up very fast. Thanks a lot to all those supporters online now :-D

I just woke up and had to look again. Oh no, back to rank 5 O.K., Peter, if I understand right, if we don't get to #1 this time there are other chances. If we get to number #1, Emily is nominated, will not appear in the dailies again, so we can relax. Either way is good. And I added the link to the voting to our newsfader, hope you like it, Don ! I watched some of the other videos. Jackie is good, but Emily seems the only kid who put in her very own composition, and plays it herself ... so I know whom I vote for. Nevertheless I will do a little bit of voting now, again :-D Dieter Edit: It's 7:30 UTC now, Emily is now number 3 , with something around 50000. Only 15000 to #1. If our European fans join with all there power we should be able to do it. So, Come on, vote for Emily: www.wonderworldtv.com/watchentries.html?bctid=17525895001

Edit: only 8000 now, wow, counts are exploding now. All others are sleeping :-D

Thanks Peter O.K, I am on and voting now. Still 66 hours left, so it should be possible to get her a better ranking :-) If I see right you are there too, but we need help from more members, so whoever reads this go here: www.wonderworldtv.com/watchentries.html?bctid=17525895001you will see a video of Emily, and on the right side you can vote. You can give a vote every 15 seconds, maybe twenty with the page reload. Right now: Emily 1660 stars number twelve has 1919 stars, but new votes right now Edit: that was fast. Place 11 should be already, place 10 need 2250 stars, for place 5 we will need 12000, don't think we can top Jackie with 75000 stars. Dieter

Hi Peter,
Thanks for these wonderful screenshots. Although I don't know Emily in person, I think they show her personality in a beautiful way. Just yesterday I found a discussion group where people expressed their fear Emily could be in any way exploited. If you watch these videos and see these screenshots it is so easy to notice how far such a fear is from reality, how much she loves what she is doing, and what a very kind heart she has.

Hi accskaguy,
This was in the first video I ever saw of Emily, and which certainly left some impression on me. It's at 1:15 to 1:25 there :-)
Although it has the usual sensational style, this video still is a nice one, mainly because of all the quotes from Emily, her mother and her teacher.
BTW, I don't understand Emily's last sentence, where she says "I am ... a normal kid, playing the piano, and most ... kids". Can anyone help?

Peter,
Of course you are right about purchasing the CD from Emily's home. What is special about Amazon is, that it is a very big market place where the chance that people see the CDs is much better. This way more people may learn about Emily, although personally I would buy the CDs from her Web page.

Hi Don, That's wonderful. I was very sad when I learned you had to put it down. I have a guess about that special lady Thanks for that very special video BTW: Does anyone know whether "Northern Lights" is available as sheet music? It may be beyond my current abilities, but I would like to have a try and I have found an excellent teacher and she says I am picking it up very quick :-) Dieter
